Luxury Ayurveda Spa and Health Retreat

This Ayurveda Spa is located in a quiet side valley of the Moselle, far from the hubbub of modern life. The resort is tucked away in four-and-a-half hectares of countryside that brighten the senses and soothe the soul.

The concept of the resort is based on the ancient Ayurvedic principle that health comes from being in harmony with oneself and one's nature. We are committed to this concept.

Ayurveda at Parkschloesschen - authentic and exclusive

The hotel is housed in an art nouveau castle that was restored with great care during the early 1990s. In keeping with the central holistic principle of Ayurveda, the aim was to create a place of harmony and aesthetics that restores individuals to their natural balance. We set out to put Ayurveda, the world's most ancient art of healing, into practice in its purest form.

In redecorating the castle, we therefore primarily used natural materials like pure wool, wood, slate and marble. The water supply for the entire building is drawn from the nearby thermal spring. The 60 rooms were systematically cleared of any harmful influences: electric cables were fitted with a double insulation, marble was used to create a shield over water veins, and the rooms were furnished with pure wool carpets and pure silk wallpaper to guarantee the well-being of our guests.

Not only the architecture and decoration, but also the medical care, food, exercise programme and accompanying activities at Parkschloesschen are based on the wisdom of ancient Ayurvedic medicine.

An Ayurveda pioneer

As Europe's first fully Ayurvedic luxury resort, Parkschloesschen was a pioneer in the field of alternative holistic medicine - and generally regarded as slightly exotic. Today the resort represents the quintessence of Ayurvedic living at the most refined level - a far cry from current Wellness trends. As a hotel, Parkschloesschen was awarded the five-star category.

Anyone wishing to explore the picturesque surroundings of Parkschloesschen will find a wide range of attractive leisure activities within a five-minute radius of the hotel. There are tennis courts on the grounds. Hiking trails and mountain bike and roller-blade paths along the Moselle and through its scenic vineyards offer attractive options for longer excursions.
