The
14 night trip will begin in Delhi, India's colourful and bustling
capital city followed by an overnight train journey to the foothills of
the Indian Himalayas, the Kumaon. Two nights of Shakti's Kumaon Village
Experience, staying overnight in renovated authentic village houses,
with morning and evening yoga sessions, you will then be driven by
private car to stay at Shakti's exclusive luxury lodge, 360 Leti – a 4
roomed lodge at 8000ft, for 7 nights, where you will have morning and
evening yoga sessions, both one-on-one and group. 360 Leti was voted in
the Top 101 Hotels of the world for the past two years running. This
region is one of the most beautiful yet, under explored areas of the
Himalayas. |
For
8 people only, this trip will be privately escorted by yoga expert, Ms
Liz Lark – who over the course of the 14 days, through group and
one-on-one sessions, will cover the essential areas of developing ones
yoga skills, and meditation.

Liz's
passion for Yoga developed in 1990, studying as a teacher with the
British Wheel of Yoga (1992), and exploring Astanga Vinyasa Yoga, a
dynamic, dance-like style.
One
of the first teachers to run yoga retreats, Liz leads Yoga Holidays in
un spoilt places of natural beauty. She has taught actors Ralph Fiennes
and Alan Rickman, and the world renowned conductor Sir John Eliot
Gardiner. Liz is a member of Yoga Alliance USA&British Wheel of
Yoga. |
